howpopularisyourname.com ("we", "us") is a static informational website about U.S. baby-name statistics. This policy explains what data is processed when you use it.

What we collect

• No accounts. You can't create an account here, and browsing the site requires no personal details at all. Tools like the generator shortlist run entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to us. The only place we ask for data is the contact form below — and only if you choose to use it.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP address, browser type, and requested pages to deliver the site securely and reliably.

Contact form

If you use the form on our contact page, we process the name, email address and message you enter, solely to answer you. Two processors are involved: Cloudflare Turnstile performs the spam check (it analyses browser signals instead of tracking you across sites), and Resend delivers the resulting email. We keep the correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request.

Cookies & advertising

We may display advertising (e.g., Google AdSense) to keep the site free. Third-party ad vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Analytics

If we use analytics, we prefer privacy-friendly, aggregate measurement. We do not sell personal information.

Children's privacy

This site is aimed at adults (typically expecting parents) and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
